We, at Meri-Lou, consider it very important that data is processed and handled correctly and that personal data provided are and remain confidential. Meri-Lou is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we will explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose.

Personal data that is processed

Meri-Lou can process personal data about you, because you use the services of Meri-Lou, and/or because you provide these to Meri-Lou yourself when filling in a contact form on the website. Meri-Lou can process the following personal data:

– Your telephone number;
– Your email address;
– Your IP address

Why Meri-Lou collects data

Meri-Lou processes your personal data in order to be able to contact you by telephone if you request it, and/or to be able to contact you in writing (by e-mail and/or by post) if you are not reachable by telephone. We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. Your email address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission. In addition, Meri-Lou can use your personal data in the context of the execution of an assignment agreement concluded with you.

We do not publish customer data.

Provision to third parties
We can pass on personal data to our partners. These partners are involved in the execution of the agreement.

Mapping website visits
General visitor data is kept on the Meri-Lou website, including the IP address of your computer and the time of request and data that your browser sends. This data is used for analysis of visitor and click behavior on the website. Meri-Lou uses this information to improve the operation of the website. This data is anonymised as much as possible and is not provided to third parties.

Google Analytics
Meri-Lou uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how effective the Adwords ads from Google search result pages are. The information thus obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google’s privacy policy for more information. You will also find the privacy policy of Google Analytics here. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide reports about the Website to Meri-Lou, and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google can provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Meri-Lou has no influence on this. Meri-Lou has not given Google permission to use Analytics information obtained through Meri-Lou for other Google services.

We take adequate security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.

Retention periods
Meri-Lou does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realise the goals for which your data is collected. Your data will not be stored for more than a year if no agreement is made. Provided there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (such as the seven-year tax retention obligation for payment data).

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
